Singapore, Oct. 29 (BNA) — Gold prices continue to hover close to record levels on Tuesday.
As of 0521 GMT, spot gold increased by 0.4%, reaching USD 2,753.00 per ounce, just below last Wednesday’s record high of USD 2,758.37. U.S. gold futures also rose, gaining 0.3% to USD 2,765.20.
In addition to gold, spot silver climbed 0.5% to USD 33.86 per ounce, while platinum saw an increase of nearly 1%, reaching USD 1,043.20. Palladium rose by 0.8% to USD 1,227.84, following a 10-month high earlier in the trading session.
