Gold prices in Pakistan experienced a rise on Monday, reflecting increases in international market rates. In the local market, the price of gold per tola increased by Rs200, reaching Rs275,700.
Similarly, the price for 10 grams of gold rose by Rs171, bringing it to Rs236,368, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Saturday, the price per tola had surged by Rs1,600, closing at Rs275,500.
The international gold rate also saw an uptick on Monday, with the APGJSA reporting a price of $2,659 per ounce, including a premium of $20. This marked a $3 increase during the day.
Silver prices remained unchanged at Rs3,050 per tola.
Last month, gold prices in Pakistan reached a record high of Rs277,000 per tola.
