Amman: Gold prices saw a notable increase on Wednesday, as reported by the General Syndicate for Owners of Trade Shops and Jewelry Craftsmen.
The price for 21-carat gold, commonly favored by buyers, rose to JD 54.4 per gram for selling, while the buying price stood at JD 52.4 per gram.
Similarly, the prices for 18-carat gold, another popular option, increased, with the selling price now at JD 45.5 per gram and the buying price at JD 45.
For those seeking higher purity gold, the price for 24-carat gold also surged, reaching JD 62.6 per gram for selling, while the buying price was recorded at JD 6.3.
This rise in gold prices reflects broader market trends as demand continues to fluctuate amid global economic conditions.
