Gold Prices Increase Rs 10; Silver Up Rs 100

Gold prices rose by Rs 10 in early trading on Tuesday, with 24-carat gold priced at Rs 79,650 per 10 grams, according to the GoodReturns website. Silver also saw an increase, up Rs 100, with one kilogram selling at Rs 1,01,100.

The price of 22-carat gold also climbed by Rs 10, bringing it to Rs 73,010 for ten grams. In Mumbai, the price of 24-carat gold matches that of Kolkata, Bangalore, Chennai, and Hyderabad at Rs 79,650. In Delhi, 24-carat gold is slightly higher at Rs 79,800.

For 22-carat gold, Mumbai’s price aligns with Kolkata, Bangalore, Chennai, and Hyderabad at Rs 73,010, while in Delhi, it stands at Rs 73,160. The price of one kilogram of silver in Delhi matches that in Mumbai, Kolkata, and Ahmedabad at Rs 1,01,100, but is higher in Chennai at Rs 1,09,100.

In the U.S., gold prices remained stable on Tuesday after reaching a record high in the previous session due to escalating geopolitical tensions in the Middle East and uncertainties surrounding the U.S. presidential election. Spot gold rose 0.1% to $2,723.06 per ounce, while U.S. gold futures were down 0.1% at $2,737.1.

Spot silver increased by 0.2% to $33.86 per ounce, having previously hit its highest level since late 2012 at $34.28. Additionally, platinum rose 0.3% to $1,006.26, and palladium gained 0.4% to $1,055.75.
