In the third quarter of 2024, gold purchases by Egyptians fell by 17% year-on-year, totaling 10.4 tons, according to recent data from the World Gold Council, as reported by Asharq Business.
When compared to the previous quarter, purchases declined significantly, dropping 38.5% from 14.4 tons in Q2 2024.
