Gold prices in Pakistan saw a significant decline on Friday, mirroring a drop in international rates. The price per tola fell by Rs 2,500, bringing it down to Rs 284,700.
In the local market, the price of gold for 10 grams decreased by Rs 2,144, now selling for Rs 244,084, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Thursday, the price per tola had already decreased by Rs 700, settling at Rs 287,200.
Internationally, gold prices also fell on Friday, with the rate reported at $2,752 per ounce (including a $20 premium), down $25 from earlier in the day.
Additionally, silver prices dropped by Rs 20, now priced at Rs 3,430 per tola.
Notably, gold prices reached an all-time high of Rs 287,900 per tola in Pakistan on Wednesday.
