Chennai, November 4, 2024 — Gold prices in Chennai have remained stable for the past two days following a recent surge during the Diwali festivities. This stability comes amid strong buying activity in the gold market and ahead of the upcoming US presidential election tomorrow, along with expectations of a rate cut from the Federal Reserve in its next policy meeting.

In higher weight categories, prices also reflect this stability, with 100 grams of 24-carat gold costing ₹8,04,000 and 100 grams of 22-carat gold retailing at ₹7,37,000.
